This is a Tumblr for my debut YA novel, So Close to You.
Themes = time travel, romance, the 1940’s, World War II, the Montauk Project, sci-fi, the beach, the woods, the darkening sky. Lydia Bentley is a seventeen-year-old, vintage-loving, aspiring journalist who, through a strange series of events, finds herself in another time period. She makes friends with certain family members, tries to solve a mystery or two, and meets a boy named Wes along the way.

THE AUTHOR
Rachel Carter is a writer, a reader, and a lover of all things pop culture. She grew up in the woods of Vermont, and recently graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in nonfiction writing. Her debut novel, So Close to You, will be available from HarperTeen on July 10th, 2012.
